Yes, many of you are asking what our housing arrangements are after the wedding. And yes to your surprise, we are staying separate! HDB la, didnt build fast enough for us. Hahhaa, having heard many HDB that were delivered earlier than expected, we were expecting that ours would be the same too. But no leh, for our case, HDB is delivering it on time. When the bto was launched, they said that it would be complete by 2014 Q1. And on 4 Feb, we received a letter from HDB to say that our flat will be ready by end 2014. They will let us know when to collect the keys again. We are guessing probably in April. Singaporeans are too much right, they deliver ON TIME, but we feel little disappointed that they didnt do it faster. But oh well, end March will come very fast. We dont want the trouble of moving for just a few months, so prefer staying separate.
Within a week on 10 Feb, HDB sent another letter asking us for information if we would like to take the housing loan eligibility. We are getting a loan from HDB to save the trouble of doing financing outside. We submitted the application form on 13 Feb and within 3 working days, they have approved it. Ok la, they are very efficient. We shall not complain. Just enjoy the days at home without the need to do housework. Shouldnt ask for more right!
So over the last few weekends, we have been looking for interior designers to quote for the renovations that we want to do for our house. Will update again on the ID that we are going to engage!

Wedding Day - Solemnisation and Dinner
14 Dec 13 Sat
We followed the angmo style, where my dad walked me in. Ple walk along the isle in churches right, mine was solemnisation. And i could see that he was very happy with this task!
It was then time to change into the wedding gown and prepare for the first march in. We were able to start the wedding dinner at 8pm. It was fortunate that our guests were cooperative in coming on time. Waiting to enter the ballroom - we were actually feeling calm.
Cake cutting ceremony, followed by the first dish presentation for the suckling pig, before Acoustic Saturday started their performance.
And we made a speech. Hahaha, his most dreaded part of the wedding. But too bad, he got to say smth!
Our dinner ended at about 10.45pm. It was a magical magical day. A day that keeps replaying itself in my mind =)
Second part of the day! All thanks to the brothers and sisters who helped us decorate the place and run the entire show. We were able to enjoy the night without too much stress.
Our cocktail reception area. Pretty pretty.

We exchanged vows, exchanged rings and signed on the dotted line. It's official, it's recognised by law, we are married!
And, the first march in! It felt magical.

It was then the second march in! Where we sang 最重要的决定。I took a long time to persuade him to sing this with me~
We went up the stage for champagne pouring
And gathered friends and relatives up on stage for yum seng!

We watched a beautiful morning highlight that our videographer put together before we went to take table photos.

Wedding Day - Gatecrash and Tea ceremony
14 Dec 13 Sat
Pictures are finally up! No time to do this. I never get sick of looking at these photos :) The full album is at https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10152010724234473&type=1&l=df8d53be68
Games that they played include guessing what the thing was inside the 恐怖箱, if not will kenna wax; eating the 酸甜苦辣 stuff; guessing which kiss mark was mine, if not groom got to kiss the person who kissed the board (no matter how he guessed, the groom would have to kiss my parents and grandma before sisters say that he answered correctly); and using their feet to find the correct key in the ice bucket that could open my house door. The sisters and relatives had a great time enjoying the show while my cousin's boy looked on feeling very sad for the brothers.
Tea ceremony at his house. Received a diamond necklace from MIL and a gold bracelet from his aunt.
Took some photos before I changed into my red dress. Didnt get a cheongsam as I couldnt find a suitable one. I didnt like Kua too.

Preparation for the gatecrash!
Before the groom arrived parents pulled over the veil. It was quite an emotional thing for me.
The groom arrived! Car door opened by my cousin's son.
Sisters and brothers all game for the gatecrash

A final game before he entered my room. Blew up some balloons, brothers to repeat after the groom when he read the 10 promises to me before he sang 你是我最深爱的人 to me. The brothers had great troubles repeating after 'your money is your money, my money is also your money.'
And he finally met the bride!
Came down to the living room to leave for his place. Was also emotional before leaving my house.
My dad sheltered me out with a red umbrella, and we were off to his house!
And we reached the next destination

Back to my house!
Tea ceremony for my side of the relatives :)
Group photo, thanks to all the relatives who came to our houses so early in the morning!
Time to throw the bouquet.... and Ellis caught it!
Some final shot taken at the garden outside my house, and we were done for the morning session!
