TV and Fan

We settled the TV and standing fan today! Actually for TV, we already know which models we want to buy since 2 months back. Only that prices of TV drop very quickly and they keep pushing out better specifications, hence we held back buying the TVs until now. There are so many brands in the market but darling likes LG the most while I like Samsung. So we bought one of each. And because we still have $50 worth of rebate points which we earned from Gain City, we went back to GC to buy our TVs. To me, TVs are all about the same, only the outlook is different to me. I don't really care about TV specs since I rarely watch them, but well, he's quite fussy about it.

For the living room, we settled on a 47 inch LG Smart 3D model. The living room is so small, anything bigger seems like it will make us cross-eyed!

For the bedroom, it was easy. We decided on this model as I like it for its pretty base. As the bedroom TV would be placed on a island console, the legs have to look presentable. We settled on a 40 inch Samsung Smart 3D TV.

And then, we also bought a fan for our bedroom. Again, fans are fans right. So how did we decide on which one. I have no preference, but he likes an iFan from Homefix DIY. Why? Cos the fan can turn 360 degrees. When he laze on the bed at night while I do work at the study table, the fan can be turned on for both of us. The iFan usually cost $199, but we saw it drop to $159 this weekend. So, buy! Comes with a 3 year warranty.
