Zeth has been starting to know how to complain whenever he is bullied, scared or anything he disagrees with in general. He will make sure you take notice of him and gives him some tender and care. Whenever we ask who made the mess, he will always say gorgor tsktsk, so young already knows how to push blame! He loves kissing me and Keath and hugging his brother in general. Zeth has also mastered the - skill of waving hi and bye to people, taking out and putting back lego pieces - which amazes me cos they usually know how to assemble back lego pieces at a later age. And the next milestone that he mastered was climbing the stairs! Of cos it is with support of the handrail, but I thought this is a quick development for his age! But it also means more work for us as we will have to follow him whenever he is off to play at the stairs.
Zeth understands many things and is starting to learn how to imitate whatever we say. He is able to say single syllabus words like ba (bus), ball, burp (bird), car, lorlor (lorry), tan (van), bike, bag etc. He loves calling his brother gorgor, able to say popo, gonggong, daddy and mummy, but refuses to call me whenever i ask him to call me. He will keep calling me papa if anyone asks him to say mama. Only when he cries or is in distress will the mama come out haha tsk, mischievous boy. He will say ah when we ask him to open the mouth, can turn in circles, loves to dance and jump! But of cos, his legs cant leave the ground yet. Only his hands will fly up high as his version of jumping haha.
Zeth is also not afraid of the showerhead! No more bathutub for him, we will just use the showerhead and shower him together with Keath. So he learnt this pretty early on. Good la, when he goes childcare he wont be afraid of water going into his eyes already. And then as his progresses to the toddler stage, he has been sleeping later and later at night. From 6+, 7+, now becomes 8+ and sometimes 9pm already! But it's ok, it means that we can see more of him before he sleeps. Because his night sleep is shorter, his afternoon naps have now elongated to a stable 1.5 - 2.5 hours.
For Keath, of cos his development would be less elaborate since he is now no longer a baby and development wont be growing at such an exponential rate. He is now able to read the clock! Simple ones of cos. the 7, 8, 9 oclock etc and 7.30, 8.30, 9.30 etc. Have not taught him the 5 min intervals. And besides mastering how to say 1-100 and backwards in english, he is now also able to say 1-100 in chinese. Have not tested him the backwards version though. We didnt teach him, he just knew it himself! I'm pretty sure the school didnt teach also, cos they only teach 1-10. He is also able to control what he wants to see on tv. Knows the cable tv channels and able to press the 3 digit cartoon channels for himself tsk tsk. Keath is into imaginative play nowadays! Like to set up shop and ask us to buy things from him. Guess this is a phase that every kid will go through!
