aLaL together as one!: 6 months and i sit, have teeth and eat!

You mean half a year is gone? Time oh time, how fast must you fly? My baby is growing cuter by the day. In the eyes of a mother, my baby is the cutest baby around. The most lovable, the most heart-melting, most kissable little being around. He is a head-turner when we bring him out. People say that he has thick and stylish hair, looks korean/ japanese, has mesmerizing small eyes, has a lovely smile, is chubby and cute. On his chubbiness (he's 97th percentile alr), oh well, there's nothing we can do right. Let's just take it that babies are supposed to be chubby.

At 5+ months, he already knows how to sit! That is considered a rather quick development. Mil says that it is becoming easier to take care of him now. Cos he now takes 3 short naps (average 45 min) a day. He doesnt really nap in the day when he was smaller! But now, we dont really have to rock him to sleep and he can fall asleep after a milk bottle. This is a big relieve as we really cant rock a 9.5kg to sleep all the time and my mil needs time to do housework also.

We started Keath on solids at 5+ months already! Before we started, we predicted that he would not be choosy on food since he is a monster eater. And sure enough, he has not rejected the cereal, apple, melon, sweet potato, carrot, broccoli and cauliflower puree that we gave him so far! His first reaction to new food is so funny (think scrunched up face), but after the first spoon, he would happily continue eating. You must be fast in the feeding, or he will scream! We follow the 3 day rule, where we let him try each type of food for 3 days to check if he develops allergy. So far so good. The Avent steamer and blender is now our best friend. Would want him to try as much food as possible so that he would not be picky in food next time. Not like his father!

He has also grown 2 tooth at the lower gum. As much as im happy with his development, im also scared if anything would happen to the milk machine. My dear baby, no biting please. The milk machine will turn faulty and i'm not sure if there is any warranty to repair it back.

Work is like so not important now. I return home on time cos darling picks me up. It's a joy to be able to go home to your precious gem every night, play with him, make him laugh and give him the milk that he craves at bedtime. It's a joy to know that he recognises you as his mum and is attached to you. It's a joy to hear him laugh - he laughs a lot nowadays. It's a joy to just be around with him. Life is actually very simple with him now. He only needs to eat, sleep, shit and play. I'm enjoying this phase of life with him.
