aLaL together as one!: 16 months and i start asking questions!

This month, we see Keath starting to ask simple questions! Hahhaa, things like where is mama, daddad, popo, ball ball. But but, he ask in a Singaporean way - like mama leh? ball ball leh? It's ok, we speak like that too, don't need him to speak Britain English. It's a start to his language development and he will soon be a chatterbox. He intonation will go up when he asks a qn, am amazed how he knows this is how speech works. Other things that we observed this month include:

- Understands many new things eg balloon, panda, dustbin, flower, lift, staircase, insect, umbrella, apple, orange. bag etc, just that he cant pronounce them properly yet.
- Knows what is keep/ take out, give/take, come/go, sit/stand, lie down/walk
- Knows that we need to pay when we buy things and will tap using our paywave card or pass cash to the cashier
- Understands that daddy and mummy will leave when he sleeps cos whenever it is his sleeping time at night, he will wave goodbye to us after I pass him his milk
- Imitates us combing hair, sighing, watering plants, doing daily activities
- When we say gai gai, he will look for his shoes and our bag. Can identify whose shoes is whose and will point and articulate.
- Knows which is our house unit/ daddy's car but will purposely smile and point to the wrong one to see our reaction
- Will blow air when he sees a cake or hear the happy birthday song
- Is observant cos he will want to pluck my fake eyelashes whenever I put it on! well, it means that he looks at me in the eyes =D (I don't think the husband even notices)
- Understands what is hug and kiss. Will do so when I ask him to hug or kiss mama.
- When he sees the letterbox, he will point to the daddy's pocket cos that's where the keys are kept.
- When he sees the stem on a grape, he will pluck it out before eating
- When daddy wants to drink coffee, will go to the kitchen and take out a sachet of coffee for him
- Will no longer meddle with the phone when we facetime him. He used to want to take the phone and explore but now, he will respond when we facetime. When I facetimed him the last round, he was eating an apple. I asked him to feed him and he brought it nearer to screen!
