The BTB page organized Taobao sprees in March and April. I continued to buy things in the two sprees. My deals below!
We need to wear new pyjamas the night before the wedding. Not like we wear any pyjamas when we sleep. So just buy a set specially for the night. Costs only about $24 for 2 sets. Cannot remb why we need the towels, but the lady at the Chinese Wedding Shop says that we should use new towels to wash up after the wedding the night. My taobao buy is $4 for 2 towels. We need to wear bathroom slippers the night before the wedding day, feet cannot get in contact with the ground. Only $2 for 2 pairs.
Bought the bowl set which would be used when we have our dessert in the morning, costs $15 per set. Chopsticks are $1 per pair. Also bought the 'Xi' signs to be put on the front door, bedroom door, living room etc to bump up the weddingish atmosphere. I bought various designs in 3 different sizes. The extra big signs are about $3 per piece, medium signs are $1.50 for 2 pieces while small ones are $1 for 2 pieces. 'Xi' angbaos are $1 for 6 pieces. I also need to throw a red fan out of the car when I leave my house for his house. The fan is $4.
All these items can be found in the Chinese Wedding Shop. Saved significantly when I compare the retail price and these found on Taobao!
