After hearing from friends and looking online for credit cards that give cash rebate, we have decided to each apply for one Stanchart Manhattan credit card! With a spending of $4,000 per quarter, they give a 5% rebate (i.e. $200). We will definitely need this as many big purchases are coming up --> banquet, honeymoon, renovations, furniture, unforeseen expenses etc. We will definitely spend more than $4,000 per quarter each lor. They should change the rebate amount to each month instead of each quarter lor, damn.
So, I know that JP has set up a stanchart booth last week. So we purposely walk past the booth and let the promoters catch us. Haha, signing up at the roadshow gives us an additional once off $80 cash rebate each. Better than nothing!
